The Story behind Peak 33 Fitness:

First: The number 33 represents transformation, the mastery of challenges, and growth, both in mind, spirit, and fitness. It’s a powerful symbol of overcoming obstacles and emerging stronger.

Second: My 33rd peak during my Adirondack 46er journey wasn’t just another mountain; it became a reflection of my personal journey—through life, fitness, and the mountains themselves. It stood as a symbol of the battles I’ve faced and the resilience I’ve had to find.

Third: Since then, the number 33 has followed me, appearing everywhere as if the universe was trying to send a message. I ignored the omens for 3 years until one night, while watching a movie, it all clicked. I asked myself, “What was my 33rd peak during my 46er journey?” It was freaking Mount Redfield, the mountain that almost made me quit. That hike was pure pain with almost zero enjoyment.
